General Meanings:

Many people find vulture as an unpleasant animal, colloquially this word also used for greedy people. In Indian dream interpretations vultures are just the opposite interpreted as symbols for benevolent people who support own intentions. This other meaning is probably due to the fact that the vultures were respected and considered in India as useful “health police”. In general, the first unfavorable meaning applies for us.

Any of various large birds of prey of the New World family Cathartidae or of the Old World family Accipitridae, that are related to the hawks, eagles, and falcons but have weaker claws and the head usually naked. This helps to keep the head clean when feeding. Research has shown that the bare skin may play an important role in thermoregulation of this bird. A group of vultures is called a wake, committee, venue, kettle, or volt. The term kettle refers to vultures in flight, while committee, volt, and venue refer to vultures resting in trees.

    I saw in my dream a vulture as tall as man standing by a door like a doorkeeper. on two occasions, it opened the door for me in obeisance.
    The vulture is like a man clothed in a vulture feather. It was obvious that vulture was actually represented or meant.
    what could this mean sir/ma?
    Am a nigerian, live in the southern part of the country.

    I can’t recall exactly but i saw a vulture in my dream were i was walking with my friends and i became scared cuz in real life,i’m scared of that bird and i try to scare it away but it refuses to leave and we left that place and went away..plz what does that mean?

    I dreamed I was riding on eagle’s back , the eagle is white but there is print in his back the color is brown I can’t understand the print. I was in a beautiful Island then I saw an eagle I get closed to him and ask him if I can take a ride , then i found myself riding and flying with him.

    In my dream, I was with a few people I cant remeber who they were. But we were standing on a beach and these vultures flew towards me, trying to peck at me! So scary!

    I dreamt that I was holding a dead vulture with its legs and talons tied, I was about using it as a sacrificial lamb in that dream. I tore it into pieces and somebody was looking at what is was doing to the animal without passing any comment! Kindly tell me what this means.
